I have totally fallen head over heels for the ductwork and furnaces in our new house.
I know it sounds crazy.
If you have never lived in an old, drafty farmhouse that gets hit very strongly every time-every single time-the north wind blows, you will not understand. I am thankful that we have a home and all that, but it is a cold house and I am in love with ductwork. It is a great invention. Wonderful. Fantastic.
Once the furnaces and ductwork were finished, I think my husband and I were both inspired to want to get everything else done and move! And we’re gaining. Yay!
And yay for ductwork. It’s such a fantastic invention. Sorry. Just had to say it again.
Beautiful-absolutely beautiful!

Yes those are BEAUTIFUL pictures! Can’t wait till I have some of those myself. 15 years without a furnace is 15 years TOO long in my book. Maybe next winter…
enjoy that thermostat on the wall – I can’t wait to have one on my wall:)

So glad for you to have a warm house (and a cool one, too!). I know how cold your house got but I also know that hearts were warm! That was the temperature of your home(and still is!).

yes, we have been there too!! It is very nice to have ductwork and a thermostat.

So exciting seeing all your house pictures! We put a heating and cooling system in several years ago and they apologized that the duct work was visible in one of my rooms. Nate and I just embraced it as design… modern, industrial style. 🙂 Can’t wait to see all the after pictures!
