I’ve been using ends and small amounts of my cotton yarn for dishcloths to make these fun raggy-taggy pom-poms. I thought it might make a fun, quirky wreath. The other evening I used all the ones I had and started the wreath. Now back to pom-pomming to have enough to finish it out!
I want to try making some heart-shaped pom-poms. I’ve seen some cute ones floating around in pictures on the Internet. And I saw some added as embellishments on paper clips like my paper clips in this post!
I mentioned this journal in my Craft Stash For Kiddos post yesterday. I’d had it out, so I snagged it for a picture.
Isn’t this a pretty journal? I got it for Christmas and I don’t think I’ve put it in a Yarn Along post. I kept thinking I would……………………
It’s a good reminder! Beauty in the everyday….hidden in the ordinary!
And these! Aren’t these prayer journals from The Daily Grace Co lovely? I can’t decide which one I like better. It’s a little hard to see in the picture, but the top one says Prayer. The silhouette and the Seek on the second style really draw me too. Feminine looking with a classic vintage look! You can find them in the shop here.
The Daily Grace Co. has so many items that would make a fun gift package!
My Valentine pillows!!
You should check out my sister’s shop and her Valentine pillow designs! They are SO MUCH FUN! {In my unbiased opinion! 😉 }
{Have I mentioned I love Valentine’s Day?} {And guess what?! I received a very-happy-mail package the other day! It was a Valentine’s package from Winans Chocolates + Coffees! {Handclaps and Heart Eyes and Handsprings} AND tomorrow we have a giveaway beginning for a Winans Valentine’s Package!}
{Giveaway going on right now for Parenting With Grace and Truth book……}
Here’s a couple pictures of our pasture and the ice out the back door. Still waiting for electricity that’s not powered by our John Deere and generator!
Here’s my fingerless mitt. If I would sit down and keep at it, it would soon be finished.
I’ve really enjoyed watching it take shape.
Craving Connection arrived! I am completely enjoying it. I like the variety of stories and the compilation drawn together from various authors. I’d like to write a longer blogpost featuring this book. {We’ll see….}
Here’s my second January verse for SSMT.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.
And KID PICK!
Tucker has really enjoyed his audios from Uncle Rick. He received a couple of new ones for Christmas.
Uncle Rick has an engaging, downhome, friendly way of reading these audios. They are fun to listen to!

I have really enjoyed making pom-pom wreaths! 🙂
I’m making the mitts for a friend who happens to love red. It’s also my favorite color when I have to name only one color. I enjoy all the red at Christmas and I think that’s part of the reason I love all the Valentine stuff, too.

The wreath is an excellent idea to help use up scrap yarn.
