Hello to a great week last week! We did various things~just living life. The everyday, yet extraordinary, when we stop and consider the blessings. We’re always glad to have my mom and dad here and enjoy just being together. We had some rain! Not lots, but we’re thankful for any that comes. We saw a beautiful rainbow. We changed oil in the irrigation system motors and started irrigation systems back up. We had sweet corn! We met my aunt for lunch in town and spent the afternoon at her house. We had taco salad and chicken mozzarella salad. We watched Ken Hamm’s, Where Did God Come From? We went to the city. We did some cleaning. We had friends come by and visit. We spent some more time with my aunt and cousin. We worked ground. We played with friends. Tuck went to the fair and stayed all night with a friend. The suburban went to the mechanic shop. I take my vehicle for granted. I went to hop in and leave and then remembered it wasn’t in the garage. I drove my dad’s pick-up. That was fun! I am a fan of GMC pick-ups. We bought cheese from the local food store and we ate cheese. We went out for lunch at the south Mexican and grocery shopped and popped into a local gift store. We sat on the porch and enjoyed the evening and chatted. We snapped a few photos.
Hello sweet corn! We love you around here!! One of our very favorite summer time favorites. Renae is not exactly happy to have braces right now.
Have you ever wondered what would happen to a roll of packaging tape left outside with a puppy that likes to chew on things? Wonder no more! Hello chewed-up tape dispenser!
Hello sweet treats! Fun to have Grandma here!
Hello beautiful, beautiful flowers! Hello to turning thirty-five. My friends blessed me with these for my birthday. I could always have fresh flowers around. So pretty!
Hello new clock! I was thinking I’d put it in the basement and my husband suggested putting it in the kitchen. A marvelous idea that had never occurred to me. I love it in my kitchen! Two are better than one~if one doesn’t think of the best place for a decor piece, the other one will! 😉
Hello new potatoes! Yummy, yummy. We heard a message about riches and we certainly felt rich as we ate a lunch of steaks from the beef in our freezer and sweet corn and potatoes from the bounty God’s earth produces. We don’t have a huge variety in our garden, but I always look forward to meals of sweet corn and potatoes.

Oh I LOVE your clock! That is so so cool. I’ve been thinking about trying to make my own large clock – maybe I should use this as inspiration!
