We were at a friend’s house not so long ago. In the afternoon she mixed up and heated up and served us some delicious Chai Tea.
I seriously doubt that if I was flipping through recipes that I would’ve landed on this recipe and decided to try it just from reading it. I love finding favorite recipes shared by friends and family. It is so yummy on a cold morning or chilly afternoon.
When the snow blanketed us in last week, I texted her and told her some Chai Tea sounded like it would hit the spot! She sent me the recipe and I brewed and boiled some, for my man and me, a couple of days later. Mmmmm!
Here’s the deliciousness of the recipe!
Do you drink Chai Tea?

Chai tea latte is my “go-to” drink at coffee shops and even at home since I don’t drink coffee. I’ve tried this recipe before and it’s tasty. Authentic chai tea also has cardamom in it. I like the Oregon Chai powder from the store, it’s thicker and creamier than this recipe but then it’s got some not-so-good stuff in it too. I dream of one day drinking chai in Kenya!

I may have to try out the Oregon Chai Powder! And also a Chai tea latte sometime. I would’ve never just ordered it off of a menu without knowing what it is. 🙂

I’ve been loving the vanilla chai hot tea. Loooove Oregon chai lattes as well. You just use regular black tea bags in this?

I did just use regular! I would guess you could do whatever you want. I bet Constant Comment would be good too!
