Three Things: Milk

Three things I like about milk………..

I love buying milk in half gallons.

I love drinking milk with brownies, gooey bars, chocolate chip cookie cupcakes……….the list is endless! I love milk with chocolate, but not necessarily chocolate milk. My husband likes him some chocolate milk though!

I like cold, cold milk, but no ice in my milk, thank-you very much. Ice in milk weirds me out. {I know-weird.} And I’m not a drink-a-warm-mug-of-milk-before-bedtime person. Uh-uh.

What do you love about milk?

I love me some milk too! Very recently, after doing much research I’ve decided we’ll not drink anything but whole so long as we can make the decision. We are very interested in drinking raw, especially now that we have a baby girl in the house and are concerned about all the extra hormones in the milk. I love chocolate milk, especially with pb&j sandwiches. When I ask my husband if he wants a cookie or a piece of cake, he always asks “Do we have milk?” and if the answer is no, he’ll pass on the cookie or cake. Weird.

My husband likes to pour milk on things like apple crisp and apple dumplings. I’ve never caught on to that habit either! :)

I like that my girls all like and drink milk. I don’t like that my tummy has decided milk doesn’t set well with it :( Need to try raw milk and see if that helps.

I love the taste, the way it makes my tummy feel, the color, the fact that it is good for you, the way it goes with almost anything you’re eating(that would exclude ice cream!), its availability, and the means to keep it at the right temperature for drinking. Also the recipes it enhances. That’s all I can think of right now.
