Apple Snickers Salad

I have a small three-ring binder that I keep some of my favorite recipes in. I pick it up and flip through it when I’m needing inspiration. Before my family came for Christmas, I planned a few menus and flipped through some cookbooks and recipes. I saw this recipe for Apple Snickers Salad and loving its yumminess, I thought it needed squeezed into the menu somewhere. I’m sure it’s not on a health food list, but it is on a yummy food list! So here’s the recipe, if you want to give it a try! One of my husband’s cousins shared it with me quite a few years ago.

Apple Snickers Salad

Chop 3 apples and 2 Snickers bars into bite size pieces.

Mix 1/2 container of Cool Whip with a small prepared vanilla pudding.

Mix apples and Snickers into pudding mixture.

Chill and enjoy!

There’s really no sizes on the Snickers and Cool Whip. I just mix in the amount that looks good.  And you could add more apples and Snickers, but not change the amount of Cool Whip and pudding. I like recipes that can be stretched and changed up…

Yum. Wish I had some right now. I was cutting up some apples earlier to put in cranberry salad for the flory chrismtas tomorrow and Emma wanted to know if I was making that yummy apple salad you made! I need to get some snickers and coolwhip and make some while we still have apples.
