For This, I am Thankful….

For this earth, I am thankful…

For this farm, I am thankful….

For grains grown from the ground, I am thankful…

For this combine and this farmer, I am thankful…..

For this imagination and these children, I am thankful….

For a home, warm and cozy, I am thankful….

For these smiles and these three dear nieces, too far away, I am thankful….

For kissable cheeks and this niece, sweet and new, I am thankful….

For family that we love and who love us, I am thankful. For closets full and cupboards too, I am thankful. For simple things, like games to play and books to read, I am thankful. For laughter loud and smiles bright, I am thankful. For friends, some far, some near, I am thankful. For Bibles on our shelves and dressers, I am thankful. For forgiveness for all my failures, I am thankful.

For a Savior, I am thankful.

      Thanks for stopping by!

I can get in an unthankful mood, or too complain-y, but when I stop and start to count my blessings, I realize I have no reason to be ungrateful!

Love the pictures. And your expressions of thankfulness. Dad and I have often said, “All of this and Heaven, too!” God just covers us up with blessings. May we always have grateful hearts.

Great things to be thankful for! I’ve been thinking I need to do a thankful post – my mind keeps going to all the great friends I’ve made over the past six months – blog friends! Need to do a bloggy appreciation post for next week!
