Recipe For Moving A Couch in the Kansas Wind

 What you will need:

  • 1 pickup, any size or variety(ours was of the dilapidated variety)
  • 1 trailer
  • 1 couch
  • 3 people (1 awesome brother and 2 sweet children will do nicely)
  • 1 driver ( a dear husband works well)
  • 1 photographer

Let couch air out in the strong, south, Kansas wind. Load couch onto trailer. Have your 3 people sit on the couch to keep the cushions in place in the wind, while the driver drives 1/8 of a mile to new location. Have photographer ready to snap pictures.

Toss in a little fun and laughs for good measure.

Couch moved into basement despite strong wind!

I got a good laugh out of this one when I saw it in my email inbox today!! How totally a KANSAS thing to do!!! Wish my kids could have helped hold down those couch cushions too:)
Is your living room furniture going down with the house??

    That is awesome!

My kids would have volunteered to ride on your couch, too!
